Reservations:
Α reservations are made based on the vehicle category, not for a specific model. In case of non-availability of a vehicle in the category pre-selected by the customer, always with reference to a confirmed reservation, Verano isla car rental reserves the right to provide to the customer a higher category car, at no extra charge for the customer.
Driver:
21 years old is the minimum age requirement for using cars of categories A,B,C and D; 25 years of age is the minimum age requirement for the rest of car categories.
Driving license:
Production of a valid license for driving in the Greek territory and the E.U., issued at least 1 year prior to the rental’s starting date, is required. Citizens of countries outside the E.U. are required to be in possession of a valid international driving license, along with producing the national driving license.
Traffic tickets – fines:
Traffic tickets and fines due to violations of the Highway Code are borne by the Renter. In addition, the Renter undertakes the payment of management costs, where required.
Means of payment:
The Renter is required to produce a credit card as guarantee for the rental, even if payment is made in cash. Rental is prepaid.
Payments terms
All payments made using the card are processed through the electronic payment platform of "Alpha e-Commerce" of Alpha Bank and uses TLS 1.2 encryption protocol encryption with 128-bit encryption protocol (Secure Sockets Layer - SSL). Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.
When a customer chooses Payment upon arrival must choose one of the following options:
1. Deposit 10% of the total renting amount to the following bank account:

Do not forget to put the name of your reservation at the description of your bank deposit.

After hours deliveries - collections:
Customer extra charge: 25€.
Out of station deliveries - collections:
Deliveries and collections out of stations take place upon request by the customer. The extra charge for deliveries-collections for out-of-town deliveries-collections, the cost is 25€ + VAT.

Car rental Terms & Conditions
Reservations:
Α reservations are made based on the vehicle category, not for a specific model. In case of non-availability of a vehicle in the category pre-selected by the customer, always with reference to a confirmed reservation, Verano isla car rental reserves the right to provide to the customer a higher category car, at no extra charge for the customer.
Driver:
21 years old is the minimum age requirement for using cars of categories A,B,C and D; 25 years of age is the minimum age requirement for the rest of car categories.
Driving license:
Production of a valid license for driving in the Greek territory and the E.U., issued at least 1 year prior to the rental’s starting date, is required. Citizens of countries outside the E.U. are required to be in possession of a valid international driving license, along with producing the national driving license.
Traffic tickets – fines:
Traffic tickets and fines due to violations of the Highway Code are borne by the Renter. In addition, the Renter undertakes the payment of management costs, where required.
Means of payment:
The Renter is required to produce a credit card as guarantee for the rental, even if payment is made in cash. Rental is prepaid.
Payments terms
All payments made using the card are processed through the electronic payment platform of "Alpha e-Commerce" of Alpha Bank and uses TLS 1.2 encryption protocol encryption with 128-bit encryption protocol (Secure Sockets Layer - SSL). Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.
When a customer chooses Payment upon arrival must choose one of the following options:
1. Deposit 10% of the total renting amount to the following bank account:

After hours deliveries - collections:
Customer extra charge: 25€.
Out of station deliveries - collections:
Deliveries and collections out of stations take place upon request by the customer. The extra charge for deliveries-collections for out-of-town deliveries-collections, the cost is 25€ + VAT.

Renters are responsible for any damage caused by the pet, and to avoid cleaning charges, vehicles should be returned clean and free of pet hair.
Geograpic restricions:
The vehicle can be delivered to any port, airport or main city of Crete *. Transportation outside of Crete Island, in-between the islands and the mainland is not allowed.
For Chania airport or port and Rethimno and Agios Nikolaos ports delivered with extra charged 30 euro.

All payments made using the card are processed through the electronic payment platform of "Alpha e-Commerce" of Alpha Bank and uses TLS 1.2 encryption protocol encryption with 128-bit encryption protocol (Secure Sockets Layer - SSL). Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.
When a customer chooses Payment upon arrival must choose one of the following options:

Cancelation
After pick-up of the car, any cancellation or change from the initial time schedule is not refunded.
Last-minute reservations payments cannot be refunded.
The following charges shall apply for the cancellation of reservations:
In case of a cancellation notice received by Verano isla at least seventy two (72) hours prior to the scheduled commencement of the vehicle’s rental, any amount prepaid shall be refunded. In case of a cancellation notice received by Verano isla less than seventy two (72) hours prior to the scheduled commencement of the vehicle’s rental, there shall be no refund of any amount that may have been prepaid.
After hours deliveries - collections:
Customer extra charge: 25€.
Out of station deliveries - collections:
Deliveries and collections out of stations take place upon request by the customer. The extra charge for deliveries-collections for out-of-town deliveries-collections, the cost is 25€ + VAT.

The difference between the two packages is the payment of the excess.The excess we offer isA-B GROUP 300 euro.C-C1-L-J GROUP 400 euro.D-D1-D2-K-L1 GROUP 500 euro.E-E1-L2- GROUP 600.euro.Plus vat 24%When an accident occurs, the renter who selected the basic insurance package (without any charge), when an accident occurs, pays only the excess.
In the full insurance package, the renter pays nothing!
Late night delivery:
For reservations between 22.00 till 07.30 there will be a late night delivery fee. Total charge is 25 Euros.
Smoking inside the car:
Smoking is not allowed inside any of our cars.
PETS:
Renters are responsible for any damage caused by the pet, and to avoid cleaning charges, vehicles should be returned clean and free of pet hair.
Geograpic restricions:
The vehicle can be delivered to any port, airport or main city of Crete *. Transportation outside of Crete Island, in-between the islands and the mainland is not allowed.
For Chania airport or port and Rethimno and Agios Nikolaos ports delivered with extra charged 30 euro.
