    Driving License Registration Level:


        Scooters:
          Up to 50 cc: AM, M, L
          Up to 125 cc: A1
          Up to 200 cc: A2

        ATV’s /Buggies/Cars: B driving license is required.

    In order to avoid any accidents caused by the wrong handling of the driver, before the delivery of each vehicle, a mandatory check will first be made for the existence of the prescribed driving license as well as the driving ability of the customer in it, to establish driving ability and handling of the vehicle. If the driver is found to be unfit to drive the vehicle safely, then it will not be delivered and the booking will be cancelled. The amount that will have been charged as an advance for the reservation of the vehicle, will not be returned.

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO HIRE A VEHICLE

    Driver’s age and licenses: Minimum age is 20 years old for ATV's, Buggies and Scooters and 21/23 years old for cars. A valid driving license category A or B held at least one year is required.

    Availability: SPIRIT rental company reserves the right to change car’s model in exceptional cases.

    Fuel: The renter is responsible for the fuel consumed during the rental. (Same to same)

    Fines and Penalties: All traffic fines are on the renter’s responsibility.

    Ferrying the car: It is not PROHIBITED.

    Off road driving: is PROHIBITED! Driving is allowed on good condition roads. If there is any offroad driving there is penalty from the company for destroyed tires and lower part damages.

    Payments: In cash or via credit card. Travelers Check or any third-party credit cards or prepaid cards are not accepted.

    Provisional licenses are not accepted.

    Minimum rental: One rental day. One rental day is from 08:30 in the morning to 20:30 in the evening, 12 hours.

    THE DRIVERS ARE NOT COVERED BY ANY INSURANCE IN CASE OF ACCIDENT: 1) Under the influence of alcohol 2) Under the influence of drugs.

    UNLIMITED MILEAGE: All vehicles are provided with an unlimited mileage allowance.

    Delivery/Collection: Pick-up and drop-off to our office is free. To drop off a car/scooter to the airport/port/hotel there is minimum rental 4 days. To drop off an ATV or a Buggy there is minimum rental 2 days.

    Baby Seat or Booster: Upon request.

    Helmets for every passenger are provided.

    Open Hours of the office: 08:30 am – 21:00 pm.

    Refunds shall not be issued for: No Collection, late collection, early return, extra fuel at check out, change of vehicle with less cost than the first agreement or any case that opposes Spirit Cycles & cars.

    Additional charges may occur due to the following: Extreme dirtiness of the vehicle, damages under the vehicle, spare parts damage or theft (windshield, stickers, wipers, mirrors, etc).

    Rental agreement: During the pick-up process the company assistants will take a video of the vehicle so to capture its latest condition in presence of the renter.

     

    INSURANCE TERMS BY AGE:

      OBLIGATORY FIELD IF DRIVER AGE IS BETWEEN 20 AND 22 YEARS OLD: If the renter is between 20 - 22 years old it is compulsory to pay extra insurance which cost 8 euro per day and the insurance options are the basic insurance and the flexible insurance which has reduction of the exemption.

      OBLIGATORY FIELD IF DRIVER AGE IS MORE THAN 74 YEARS OLD: If the renter is older than 74 years old it is compulsory to pay extra insurance which cost 9 euro per day and the insurance options are the basic insurance and the flexible insurance which has reduction of the exemption.

     

       INSURANCE OPTIONS FOR CAR HIRE:

     

     BASIC CDW EXCESS 650 Euro: Full comprehensive insurance with exemption. In the event of an accident for which the driver is responsible, then the renter is obliged to pay to the company 650 euro.

     FLEXIBLE CDW EXCESS 300 Euro: This type of insurance it cost extra 8 euro per day. In the event of an accident for which the driver is responsible, then the renter is obliged to pay to the company 300 euro.

     FULL COVER FDW (F.D.W): Full comprehensive insurance without exemption. The driver must to be older than 24 years old.

    For one day of rental this type of insurance cost 26 euro. In the event of an accident the renter has full insurance coverage and does not pay for the damage he/she/it has incurred. In case of an accident where the renter has chosen the F.D.W there is a charge of 80 euro + VAT for the documentation and registration of the accident.

    For any car hire more than a day F.D.W cost 19 euro per day. In the event of an accident the renter has full insurance coverage and does not pay for the damage he/she/it has incurred. In case of an accident where the renter has chosen the F.D.W there is a charge of 80 euro + VAT for the documentation and registration of the accident.

     

    INSURANCE FOR ATV/BUGGY/SCOOTER HIRE:

     

     BASIC CDW EXCESS: Full comprehensive insurance with exemption. In the event of an accident for which the driver of the vehicle is responsible, then the renter is obliged to pay to the company the amount which had agreed with the company plus VAT.
