DRIVING LICENSE: A valid driving license is required, held for at least three (3) years from the country of residence or an International Driving Permit.
MINIMUM RENTAL: Two (2) days. Each additional hour is charged at 5/5 of the daily rate.
TRAFFIC FINES: All fines resulting from violations of Greek traffic law are the sole responsibility of the renter.
DEPOSIT: A credit card is required to rent a car, even if the final payment is made in cash.
INSURANCE: All vehicles of Skopelostours/ Traveller car rental are insured.
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (C.D.W.): The driver may limit his/her liability for the legal share in case of vehicle damage (as mentioned in paragraph 6.4 above) to the amount of 500 euros for categories A, B, C, and D, provided that no traffic laws have been violated. Damages to tires, windshield, mirrors, windows, and the underside of the vehicle are not covered by the C.D.W. insurance.
TAXES: All rates are subject to 24% VAT.
FUEL: Fuel consumption is payable by the renter. Unleaded fuel must be used for vehicles rented from our office. DELIVERY – RETURN WITH THE SAME FUEL LEVEL (SAME TO SAME).
EQUIPMENT: Baby seat / child booster seat available upon request with extra charge.
ADDITIONAL DRIVER: Available with extra charge.
FERRYING THE CAR: Transporting the vehicle outside the rental location is not permitted. If rented from our office in Skopelos, the vehicle may only be used on the island of Skopelos. If rented from our office in Volos, the vehicle may only be used within Volos and nearby areas (Pelion – Thessaloniki – Larissa – Karditsa – Trikala -Athens).
CANCELLATIONS / REFUNDS: For cancellations up to 30 days before the reservation, a full refund is provided. For cancellations 29 days or less before the start of the rental, the amount is non-refundable.
The tourist office “Skopelos tours” is located in Skopelos Town and it is about 50m from the Skopelos Port.
Its main activities are Private Transfers and Private Tours, Car/ Scooter and Atv rentals.
