GENERAL INFORMATION
RENTERS AND DRIVERS AGE
At least 21 years old for groups A, B, C, 23 years old for groups D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K.
DRIVERS LICENSE
The driver must have held a valid license for at least 12 months.
INSURANCE
All authorized drivers of City car rental vehicles are covered against fire and liability to third parties for death, injury or damage to property. Drivers under the age of 23 years pay an additional insurance fee 20 € per rental.
MINIMUM RENTAL
Two Days.
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW)
On condition that the driving code has not been violated, renter’s responsibility can be reduced to 750 € for groups A,B,C & S, to 900 € for groups D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K.
THEFT PROTECTION (TPC)
Total value of the City car against the theft is subject to an additional charge of 5 € for all cars.
PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (PAI)
A PAI is available for an additional charge of 5 € per day per car covering the driver & passengers for medical expenses up to 12 000 €.
FULL DAMAGE WAIVER (FDW)
On condition that the driving code has not been violated, renters self-risk can be reduced to 200 € for categories A,B,C , to 500 € for groups D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K, by paying an additional charge of 8 € for groups A,B,C , 10 € for groups D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K.
WINDSHIELDS, TYRES AND WHEEL TRIMS
Are NOT covered by the insurance. There is an optional insurance for 5 € per day for tires and 5 € per day glass insurance.
PARKING
Is allowed only in authorized parking zones.
ADDITIONAL DRIVER
Is charged an insurance fee of 3 € per day.
TRAFFIC FINES
Tickets and subsequent administrative sanctions resulting from traffic violations during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility.
INSURANCE VALIDATION
The insurance becomes invalid if when driving on non-asphalt roads. Damages underneath of the car, clutches, and loss or damage of the keys are not covered by any insurance.
If the driver is not written in the contract, or if driver is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
REMARKS
Rates are subject to change without notice. The reading of klms “out” and “in” starts from and terminates at our station. Renters wishing to drive the car off of Rhodes island must have the advance authorization of our office.
All prices are subject to 24% V.A.T.
An authorized credit card is needed for all rentals for guarantee purposes. Cash guarantee can be accepted for categories A, B.
