Rental Terms

PAYMENTS / DEPOSIT  : (Extra -5% discount using CASH ON DELIVERY)

Driver's license:. The driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver's license for at least one year.

Minimum rental duration: One day.

Petrol: Petrol: Paid by the person renting the vehicle.

Guarantee: A credit card is mandatory for renting a vehicle or a minimum deposit limit of €200. Only VISA and Master Cards are accepted for the deposit of the vehicle.

Fines and violations: All fines and penalties are the responsibility of the renter, who is obliged to pay them.

Insurance: All vehicles are insured against third-party accidents. Bodily injuries to other drivers, damage to other drivers' vehicles, accident and personal accident care, as well as legal services. With third-party insurance, the renter must bear the total amount of damage for the vehicle he is driving and for which he is responsible. We offer additional CDW insurance (collision damage waiver,  at an additional cost.

Optional insurance coverage:
 By paying an additional €5.00 per day, you receive the C.D.W. (Collision Damage Waiver) insurance with which, in the event of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of €350 (+ VAT), for vehicles from 125 cc and above, the charge for CDW is €10.00 per day, and in the event of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of €450 (+ VAT). CDW does not cover:  personal belongings, lost keys, broken key switches, extra GPS cases, phone holders, etc.

*C.D.W. is not an official insurance policy.

Insurance Exclusions: INSURANCE does not apply to anything that can happen when the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. When the driver violates the Code of Road Rules and Regulations and in any case where the vehicle is driven in an unsafe or unusable area. For example, any damage to the vehicle when it has been transported on mountain or rocky roads,  beaches, swamps or areas considered unsuitable for vehicles. Any damage to the tires, mirrors, scooter exhaust and underside of the vehicle is not covered by the insurance policy. For accidents caused by a driver who is not mentioned in the rental contract. In order for any damage to be covered by the insurance, you are obliged to have an official copy of the police report. Parking is allowed only in municipal parking lots and private parking lots and not on the main roads.

Delivery – Drop-off of the vehicle: The renter is obliged to return the vehicle on the specific date and time stated in the contract. He must return it to the same location and the vehicle must be in the same condition as it was when it was rented. To certify this, the vehicle is photographed upon its return and compared with the delivery photo. The petrol tank must be the same level as the receipt,  There is no refund for gasoline that was not used by the renter. If there is a dispute, the renter is obliged to pay the amount of 10.00 euros.
Scooter2ride allows an extension of 30 minutes after the agreed delivery time, at no extra charge. In case the renter exceeds the time limit of 30 minutes, they will be charged for the entire day.

In case of "last minute" technical problems, the company reserves the right to change the vehicle you have chosen and replace it with another vehicle at no extra charge or cancel the reservation or refund the money,  always in consultation with the customer!

Helmets: In case of theft, loss or significant damage, the charge is 45.00 euros per helmet.

Loss of keys – keyless keys: 50.00 - 100 euros.

Tyre wear: In case of a flat tyre, if you pay an extra €2.00 per day, then you are not charged €1.00/km and €20 for repairs.

Taxes: All prices are subject to 24% VAT + VAT.

Parking: it is prohibited on Papavassiliou Street, in the port as well as in the center of Naxos Town. It is allowed only in municipal parking lots.

Off-Island Tours: This is only allowed with the consent of Scooter2ride.

Our prices include

2. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE: 24 hours a day
3. MILEAGE: Unlimited
4. ROAD MAPS: Provided, at no extra cost

7. VEHICLE PICK-UP / DROP-OFF: At our office (300 m from the port, at the airport or at your hotel (7–10 km from our base), free of charge

Cancellation Policy: In the event that the renter cancels the reservation up to 14 days before the date of pick-up, Scooter2ride will refund the full amount of the original deposit. If the vehicle is returned earlier than the date and time stated in the contract, Scooter2ride has the right to charge the renter in full for the entire period. The rental company has the right to sanction the reservation in case of inaccurate statements,  such as in the driver's license and credit card details, etc. and is entitled to charge the entire deposit. The company also has the right to cancel the reservation 2 hours after the date and time of receipt of the reservation, in case of no-show, without prior notice and proceed with the prepayment charge. Finally, the company has full authority to terminate a rental agreement without prior notice and without refund, when the renter drives unusually,  when driving endangers people's lives or when there is improper use of the vehicle. The driver is responsible for all violations of the Highway and Parking Code during the rental period.

By signing this agreement, the Renter expressly consents to the processing of his/her personal data described above.

Rental Terms

Optional insurance coverage:
 By paying an additional €5.00 per day, you receive the C.D.W. (Collision Damage Waiver) insurance with which, in the event of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of €350 (+ VAT), for vehicles from 125 cc and above, the charge for CDW is €10.00 per day, and in the event of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of €450 (+ VAT). CDW does not cover:  personal belongings, lost keys, broken key switches, extra GPS cases, phone holders, etc.

Parking is allowed only in municipal parking lots and private parking lots and not on the main roads.

Delivery – Drop-off of the vehicle: The renter is obliged to return the vehicle on the specific date and time stated in the contract. He must return it to the same location and the vehicle must be in the same condition as it was when it was rented. To certify this, the vehicle is photographed upon its return and compared with the delivery photo. The petrol tank must be the same level as the receipt,  There is no refund for gasoline that was not used by the renter. If there is a dispute, the renter is obliged to pay the amount of 10.00 euros.
Scooter2ride allows an extension of 30 minutes after the agreed delivery time, at no extra charge. In case the renter exceeds the time limit of 30 minutes, they will be charged for the entire day.

In case of "last minute" technical problems, the company reserves the right to change the vehicle you have chosen and replace it with another vehicle at no extra charge or cancel the reservation or refund the money,  always in consultation with the customer!

Helmets: In case of theft, loss or significant damage, the charge is 45.00 euros per helmet.

Loss of keys – keyless keys: 50.00 - 100 euros.

Tyre wear: In case of a flat tyre, if you pay an extra €2.00 per day, then you are not charged €1.00/km and €20 for repairs.

Taxes: All prices are subject to 24% VAT + VAT.

Parking: it is prohibited on Papavassiliou Street, in the port as well as in the center of Naxos Town. It is allowed only in municipal parking lots.

Rental Terms

Minimum rental duration: One day.

Petrol: Petrol: Paid by the person renting the vehicle.

Guarantee: A credit card is mandatory for renting a vehicle or a minimum deposit limit of €200. Only VISA and Master Cards are accepted for the deposit of the vehicle.

Fines and violations: All fines and penalties are the responsibility of the renter, who is obliged to pay them.

Insurance: All vehicles are insured against third-party accidents. Bodily injuries to other drivers, damage to other drivers' vehicles, accident and personal accident care, as well as legal services. With third-party insurance, the renter must bear the total amount of damage for the vehicle he is driving and for which he is responsible. We offer additional CDW insurance (collision damage waiver,  at an additional cost.

Optional insurance coverage:
 By paying an additional €5.00 per day, you receive the C.D.W. (Collision Damage Waiver) insurance with which, in the event of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of €350 (+ VAT), for vehicles from 125 cc and above, the charge for CDW is €10.00 per day, and in the event of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of €450 (+ VAT). CDW does not cover:  personal belongings, lost keys, broken key switches, extra GPS cases, phone holders, etc.

Any damage to the tires, mirrors, scooter exhaust and underside of the vehicle is not covered by the insurance policy. For accidents caused by a driver who is not mentioned in the rental contract. In order for any damage to be covered by the insurance, you are obliged to have an official copy of the police report. Parking is allowed only in municipal parking lots and private parking lots and not on the main roads.

Delivery – Drop-off of the vehicle: The renter is obliged to return the vehicle on the specific date and time stated in the contract. He must return it to the same location and the vehicle must be in the same condition as it was when it was rented. To certify this, the vehicle is photographed upon its return and compared with the delivery photo. The petrol tank must be the same level as the receipt,  There is no refund for gasoline that was not used by the renter. If there is a dispute, the renter is obliged to pay the amount of 10.00 euros.
Scooter2ride allows an extension of 30 minutes after the agreed delivery time, at no extra charge. In case the renter exceeds the time limit of 30 minutes, they will be charged for the entire day.

In case of "last minute" technical problems, the company reserves the right to change the vehicle you have chosen and replace it with another vehicle at no extra charge or cancel the reservation or refund the money,  always in consultation with the customer!

Helmets: In case of theft, loss or significant damage, the charge is 45.00 euros per helmet.

Loss of keys – keyless keys: 50.00 - 100 euros.

Tyre wear: In case of a flat tyre, if you pay an extra €2.00 per day, then you are not charged €1.00/km and €20 for repairs.

Taxes: All prices are subject to 24% VAT + VAT.

Parking: it is prohibited on Papavassiliou Street, in the port as well as in the center of Naxos Town. It is allowed only in municipal parking lots.
