Rental Policy

Car Rental Information

Driver's License: Must be valid for at least one year

Minimum Rental Duration: One day (rental day is 9a.m. to 9a.m. the next day)

Taxes: Paid by individual renting vehicle

Fuel: Paid by individual renting vehicle

Guarantee: Credit card is compulsory for vehicle rental. We accept all major credit cards (MasterCard, VISA, Maestro, AmEx)

Fines and Infringements: The hirer is obliged to pay all fines and penalties are liabilities during the rental period.

Insurance: All vehicles are insured towards third party accidents. Physical injury to other drivers, damage to vehicle of other drivers, accident care, and personal accident as well as legal services, are included. With the insurance towards third parties, the hirer has to pay the total amount of damage for the vehicle he/she is driving and is responsible for. We offer additional insurances - CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) & FDW (Full Damage Waiver) - at an additional cost.

The basic rates include third party insurance and unlimited kilometers.

Extra insurance CDW (Collision Damage Waiver): The renter is insured for damages made to the rented vehicle in the event of an accident, with 450€ excess for group A,B,C, 630€ for group D,E,F, 780€ for group F1,K, and 1100€ for group G.

FDW (Full Damage Waiver): The renter is insured for damage made to the rented vehicle in the event of an accident, with 180€ exsess for group A,B,C, 360€ for group D,E,F, and 470€ for group F1,K.

PLEASE NOTE:There is no full damage insurance coverage for category G.

P.A.I. (Personal Accident Insurance): The renter is insured for 12.000€ for personal accident insurance, in event of an accident.

Optional Insurance Coverage: CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), FDW (Full Damage Waiver) – The responsibility of the hirer, for damage done to the rental vehicle when its his/her fault, can be minimized under the various categories and their liabilities.

IF THE RENTER WANTS FDW, THE COST IS CDW, PLUS AN ADDITIONAL COST

*CDW and FDW are not official insurance policies.
*Categories A, B, C, D, E, F, F1, G & K are categories for rental vehicles.

Exception to Full Damage Insurance: Charges for any of the damages below will be charged directly to the client
The most important are the following: Antennas, trays, damage to car lock, loss or damage to keys, windshield wipers, mirrors, glass, wheels, tires, spare key and car jack, hubcap, light, fuel cap, warning triangles, damage to the upper part of the car, extreme dirtiness in the car, damage to the bottom of the car, damage due to neglect, tire punctures and burst tires, fuel errors, no battery caused by hirer's neglect (i.e. left the blinkers / lights on). The car rental company, under no circumstances, is obligated to replace a flat tyre or damages to the radio. Damage caused by drunk driving or careless driving will not be covered by any insurances.

Moto Rental Conditions

• The use of credit card is necessary as a guarantee for the hire of any vehicle.
• Rental rate includes third party insurance.
• By paying an extra 3,00 € per day you receive C.D.W. (Collision Damage Waiver) insurance with which, in case of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of 180 €.
• For vehicles from 125 cc and more, the charge for CDW is 5,00 € per day and in case of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of 250 €.
• For vehicles from 251 cc and more, the charge for CDW is 7,00 € per day and in case of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of 370 €.
• In case of a flat tire if you pay an extra of 2,00 € per day, then you are not charged with the 0,50 €/km and 10 € for repair service.
• Taxes: All rates are subject to 24% V.A.T. + M.T.
• Minimum rental: One day
• Parking is prohibited in Papavasileiou Street as well as the Chora esplanade. It is only permitted at the municipal parking areas.
• Traffic fines: All traffic fines incurred during the rental period are to be paid by the renter.
• Free delivery/collection to/from the port, the airport and hotels within the town radius.

ATV Rental Conditions

In addition to the Moto Rental Conditions above, for ATVs the following apply:

• For ATVs from 100 cc and more, the charge for CDW is 5,00 € per day and in case of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of 380 €.
• For ATVs from 300 cc and more, the charge for CDW is 7,00 € per day and in case of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of 550 €.
• For ATVs from 450 cc and more, the charge for CDW is 9,00 € per day and in case of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of 880 €.
