    Rental Terms & Conditions

    1. Rental Requirements

    To rent a vehicle, the renter must:

    • Be at least 23 years old and hold a valid driver’s license issued at least one year prior.
    • Possess a Greek, European (for EU countries), or International driver’s license (for non-EU countries).

    2. Vehicle Pickup

    Upon vehicle pickup, the renter must present:

    1. A valid driver’s license. A personal credit or debit card. Third-party cards are not accepted unless accompanied by a notarized written authorization.
    2. A signed rental agreement, including all services and insurance options, as well as any additional services selected by the renter.
    3. Before pickup, the renter and a MILES RENTALS representative will inspect the vehicle and record any existing damages.

    3. Insurance Coverage

    MILES RENTALS vehicles are insured for:

    • Third-party liability (excluding the driver) for death or bodily injuries.
    • Third-party property damages (excluding MILES RENTALS vehicles).
    • Legal coverage.

    Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W. – TP) with Deductible

    The renter is responsible for covering the following damage costs:

    • Category A, B: €500
    • Category C, C1, C2: €600
    • Category 4X4, A/T: €700 The above amounts do not include 24% VAT.

    If the renter is not at fault, no charges apply.

    Insurance does not cover:

    • Damages caused by driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
    • Damages caused by an unauthorized driver.
    • Damages without a police report or insurance claim.
    • Damages to the undercarriage, tires, rims, seat burns, lost keys, or lost accessories.

    4. Mileage Charges

    • Categories A, B1, D, D1, D2, F, CRG2: €0.00/km
    • Categories C, C1, C2, E, CRG1, G, CRG3: €0.00/km

    5. Pickup & Return

    For pickups or returns outside office hours (before 07:00 and after 24:00), a fee of €20.00 applies (24% VAT not included).

    6. Administration Fees

    • Accident due to renter’s fault: €0.00
    • Traffic violation handling: €20.00 + fine cost
    • Lost or damaged key: €80 – €350 (depending on the vehicle category)
    • Special stain cleaning fee: €80.00

    All prices above do not include 24% VAT.

    7. Fuel Policy

    The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as when rented.

    8. Rental Extension

    The renter must notify the company at least 2 days before the rental period ends to request an extension.

    9. Vehicle Replacement

    Replacement due to an accident or mechanical failure will be arranged within 48 hours, depending on the season (low or high).

    10. Booking Cancellation

    Cancellations are free of charge and can be made via the website or by phone. No refunds are issued for early vehicle returns.

    11. Online Reservations

    Online reservations are valid only upon confirmation via email.

    12. Payment Methods

    Accepted cards: Visa, American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard.

    • Cash payments are also accepted.
