Rental Terms & Conditions – Fideles Rent a Car

Driver’s Age: Drivers must be at least 23 years old for all car categories and must have held a valid driving license for a minimum of 1 year.

Driving License:

EU citizens (as well as citizens from the U.K.,Switzerland Israel, U.S.A., Russia, Norway, Australia, Canada) may use their national driver’s license, along with a valid passport or ID card.
Non-EU citizens International Driving Permit (IDP):

For all other drivers, an International Driving Permit (IDP) must be presented together with the national driver’s license.
All drivers must have held their license for at least one year.

Payments: Payments can be made in cash or by credit/debit card.

Accepted Payment Methods:

Credit, debit, and prepaid cards: Visa, Mastercard

Online Reservations

You can easily book your car through our flexible online booking system. Payment is made upon vehicle delivery, either in cash or by card.

Extensions & Cancellations

Cancellations are free of charge up until the customer’s scheduled arrival date. If a booking is cancelled on or after the rental start date, no refund or partial refund is provided. In case the vehicle is returned earlier than the agreed rental period, the remaining unused days are non-refundable. We kindly ask customers to inform us at least 48 hours in advance whenever possible.

Availability

Fideles Rent a Car reserves the right to provide a similar vehicle in case the reserved model is not available.

Fuel Policy

Fuel costs are the renter’s responsibility.

Restrictions

Transporting cars on ferries is not permitted.

Personal Accident Insurance: Full coverage for driver and passengers according to international insurance standards, at no extra cost.
Material Damages: Coverage for damages caused to third-party property.
Fire & Theft Protection: 100% included.
Windscreens, Tyres & Undercarriage: Fully covered by insurance.
Natural Disasters: Coverage against damages caused by natural events.

❌ Insurance does not apply if:

The driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The car is driven off-road.
Traffic laws and regulations are violated.

➡️ In case of an accident or damage, the driver must immediately inform the rental office and follow the given instructions.
