Payment: Payment can be effected by cash or card (debit/credit). Rental is prepaid in full. No refunds are issued for vehicles returned earlier than the agreed return date.
Delivery and pickup beyond office hours: delivery and pickup of vehicles beyond office working hours (after 22:00 and until 08:00) is subject to Agreement upon reservation and there is a 10€ charge.
Fuel: the renter is obliged to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as it had when collected. In case of returning the vehicle with less fuel, the renter will be charged with the fuel difference. No refunds are issued for vehicles returned with more fuel than when collected.
Accident: in case of an accident the renter is obliged to inform the company as well as the police and to present the police accident report to the station upon the return of the vehicle.
Minimum Rental: The minimum rental fee is one day (24 hours. After the rental period, the tenant will be charged at least one extra day.
Insurances: Our vehicles are insured against third party damages and third party personal injuries (up to the amount set by the insurance), excluding a) Driver of Faros rent a car vehicle b) our vehicle itself c) theft of the car of personal items on or inside the vehicle.
CDW - Collision Damage Waiver: In the event of damage to the vehicle the tenant is obliged to cover the repair cost up to the amount of the exemption depending on the category. The exemption amounts are:
500€ + VAT provided he accepts and signs the relevant terms of the contract for car categories A, Α1, A2, B and C (10€/day)
700€ + VAT provided he accepts and signs the relevant terms of the contract for car category J, J1 (15€/day)
The insurance doesn’t cover : damages caused because the driver was under the use of alcohol and drugs, damages caused from negligence, as well as use of wrong fuel, damages underneath the vehicle, the roof, the tires and the mirrors, damages caused while the car was in boat. In all the above cases the renter is obliged to pay the full cost of damage.
