    • Rental Policy

    Driver Information

    • For car groups A,B,C drivers must be over 23 years old and must have a valid driving license held for at least one year.
    • For all other groups drivers must be over 25 years old and must have a valid driving license held for at least two years.
    • The driver must hold a driving license issued from the European Union, or an International driving license. In a case the driver's licence do not meet the above requirements  at the collection time the customer will charged the one day cost.

    Minimum Rental

    The minimum rental period is 3 days

    Delivery/Collection

    • Free of charge to all “Cars4Greece” Stations and Airports (Rhodes,Heraklion).
    • Night/After hours : € 20.00 (Working hours: 07:00-23:00)

    Additional Driver

    Additional Drivers are free of charge.

    Extra Charges

    • Baby/child seats are available upon request with a daily charge.
    • Navigation system (GPS) also available upon request with a daily charge.

    Fuel policy

    Payable by renter.Refueling service charge: € 10.00 + V.A.T

    Traffic Fines

    Ticket and attached administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law during rental period are borne solely by the renter.

    Ferrying the car

    Only with the prior written authorization from “Auto-Club”.

    Forms of Payment

    All services can be paid by cash or by all major credit cards(Visa,Mastercard).A credit card is required for all rentals even if renter finally pays in cash. However you do not need your credit card in order to make a booking online!

    Insurances

    Included insurances

    All authorized drivers have
    Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) coverage
    a) For death or injuries to third parties, up to € 500,000.
    b) Material damages to third parties (excluding the rented “Cars4Greece” vehicle) up to € 100,000.
    Theft Protection (TP)Theft and Fire protection relieves the renter from all financial responsibility for loss of the “Auto-Club” vehicle except the first € 400.
    Suitcases and personal belongings are not covered by any insurance

    Optional insurances

    Personnal Accident Insurance (P.A.I.)

    This insurance is optionally available with a daily charge,covers the driver of “Cars4Greece” vehicle with the following amount respectively:
    Death ,total or partial disability of driver : € 24,000.

    Full Damage Waiver (F.D.W.)

    This insurance is optionally available with a daily charge, reduces the excess of collission damage waiver insurance to null.

    Cancellations

    Any cancellation 3 days before the collection day is free of charge.In a cancellation 2 days before the collection one day charge will aplly. In a case of cancellation 1 day before the 25% of rental cost will apply.

    Insurance do not cover

     • Damage caused intentionally or by negligence.
     • Incorrect use of fuel.
     • Damage caused driving under influence of alchohol or drugs.
     • The car on board ship
     • Damages caused by driving on non asphalt coated roads ( off-roads )
     • Negligence regarding unsupervised vehicle or keys left in the ignition violate Theft Protection insurance.
     • Theft or damages of any personal belongings.
